TMZ people really erked me about what they said about you. You may be a hipster, but you're our little hipster! After all, pretty much everyone is a hipster... and I think TMZ kept showing footage of a guy that looked like you, thinking it was you.
Thanks, but didn’t even see it. What did they say?
Do you think time travel is a good idea, or that it's better to continue living in the moment?
Well technically if you travelled back in time, you’d still be ‘in the moment.’ When someone seems to be unaware of the present, that person would still be that way in a time machine or anywhere else I suppose. Maybe I’m taking this question too literally. But the lesson learned at the end of Midnight in Paris seems to apply.
Have there been times when you would have liked to change the fact that John Lennon was your father? Do you think it has brought more positive effects to your life than potential downsides (perhaps people are constantly comparing you to him)? I really don't want to come across as rude - I'm really sorry if it did :3
I would never want to change something so fundamental as that. I can’t separate the positive from the negative. Everything is interconnected, I can’t dissect my life like a frog. Take the good w the bad, that sort of thing.
what is your favorite font? favorite piece of clothing in your closet? If you could live a day in the opposite sex's body would you? what is the tallest mountain you have ever been to? have you ever tried to be a vegetarian/are you a vegetarian? are you afraid of the dark? (you said not to ask you JUST anything. I could really go on and on. Have a great day!)
I like Egon Schiele’s signature. I like hats. I like having a penis. I climbed mt. Fuji. I was vegetarian as a kid for 3 yrs, but wasn’t able to stick w it at a certain point. I like the dark.
I see, well, no kind of publicity circus is very surprising after a while, just tiring, I guess. Certainly, things definetly changed and there is this new way of living, promoting, etc, it's kind of ironic, to me, at the same time, the word for media and industry is interaction but socially, people are skipping several kinds of interaction, I don't know, the internet kind of eases this because people are more comfortable here than outside, I think
(I slipped and posted this publicly, sorry)
I think the generations who are being raised on FB and Tumblr have to be weary of learning too much about surface presentation and not enough about real world physical relations. I think we’re breeding a generation of androids for the most part. It’s scary. But there is an upside of course, more data available to more people is good.
So the downsides of being born famous seem somewhat obvious to me, but I was wondering what sort of wonderful things have that fame brought to your life that you are grateful for? What weird little nuances have brought you joy? (I've been working on gratefulness everyday lately and I find it's catching... so thanks for sharing.)
Interesting because most people assume it’s like winning the nepotism lottery, and never imagine there could be a downside.
I’d say that fame itself, especially inherited not earned fame, has very little upside, other than perhaps at times getting you into restaurants you might otherwise be turned away from.
What are your guilty pleasures? Also, what's Iceland like? I know I could easily look it up on Google, but hearing someone's personal experience is much more informative and enlightening. I love to travel vicariously through other peoples' adventures :]
I read a lot of books that are more entertaining than they are educating.
Iceland is like another planet. A perfect place to film a low budget sci-fi film. I think the people of Iceland are very unique. They remind me of the Japanese in a way, it is a small country, that has to rely on human resources and human innovation to succeed.
Are you looking forward to Kate Bush's new release, 50 Words for Snow? Because of your recommendation (your list of favorite artists on your myspace & the SOL forum), I finally discovered her music and consequently am a huge fan of hers.
